Come join Ghost Hunt Uk for a fun and exciting night of the paranormal. So what does  Hadleigh Town Hall  history hold at this amazing location?

The Complex is situated on Market Place, just off Hadleigh Hight Street and adjacent to St. Mary’s Church and the Deanery Tower.

It comprises a fine Grade I listed building of Medieval origin containing many interesting historical and original architectural features and a Victorian Grade II addition which offers a finely proportioned first floor room: The Grand Hall with convenient dining and bar facilities below. The management of the building has been in the hands of the Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity since 1438.

During its lifetime this lovely grade 1 listed building has served as a workhouse, a police station and a Town Hall and survived civil wars, a fire and revolutions.

In 1989 the Trusteeship of the Charity was transferred to Hadleigh Town Council who, with considerable financial assistance from Babergh District Council, initiated a complete renovation and improvement of facilities in order to bring several rooms back into public use.

Hadleigh is believed to be one of the most haunted towns in the UK with many sightings of spectral figures and strange phenomena and The Guildhall is no exception. There has beem Shadow figures seen along with  footsteps, whispering voices and the feeling of not being alone are experienced by staff and guests and not forgetting the feeling of being touched by unseen hands. Do you have what it takes to enter this amazing location.

Investigation Includes:

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our team and you will be placed into a small group. Once introductions have been made and the team have run though the health and safety. You will explore different parts of the building throughout the evening with your team member. You will get the chance to conduct some amazing experiments such as Ouija Boards, Table Tipping, Glass Moving vigils and our up-to-date ghost hunting equipment. We will be using the most active areas of the venue throughout the night and you will be guided through this terrifying process by our friendly and capable team. Included near the end of your evening you will be able to go off and explore for an hour using what equipment you would like. Do you dare to explore the unknown?
